Bob Gilliam Leadership Award

This award is presented in recognition of leadership performance.

Eligibility:  

All regular members, both board members and non-board members alike, shall be eligible for nomination. 

Criteria:

• Must have three or more years of active membership with SCPRA.
• Must be nominated by at least one active member of SCPRA.
• Must have held the office of Region Administrator, Program Coordinator, Membership Coordinator or Recorder.
• The leadership must have contributed directly to the success and well-being of the association or region. 

Frequency:

This award may or may not be awarded annually.

Emily whitfield 

Ms. Emily Whitfield has been Coastal Region Program Coordinator since 2022. She coordinated the first hybrid workshop back in June 2023. Emily accepted the position of Program Coordinator and since then his hit the ground running to help with SCPRA. She also serves as the Program Coordinator for ARMA, which help brought potential new members to SCPRA.

JOE ONESSIMO

Joe has been a member of SCPRA since it’s beginning. Joe has been on the Board of Directors since it’s beginning (23 yrs). Joe has been the President from 1999-2000 and has been a Vice-president for one year in the beginning. Joe has been the Vice-President for the last 8 years and has served as the Board representative for the Program Coordinators during that time. Without his leadership and guidance at every Conference Planning Session we would not have a great group of people who come together under his guidance and plan these wonderful conference during these past eight years.
