• Outstanding Region Award

    The SCPRA is divided into 4 regions – Upstate, Midstate, Peedee and Coastal. The Outstanding Region award goes to the region that has provided their members with workshops, trainings, and network luncheons. Members of this region may have attended and documented other Records-related and professional  trainings for two consecutive years. This region has also promoted the SCPRA and Region officers have attended Board meetings. This award is given bi-annually. 

    Criteria:

    The documentation/evidence of the criteria below must be supplied to the Board Awards Coordinator by each Region Administrator & Recorder by August 30 bi-annually during odd years (i.e. 2024). Points are earned for documentation submitted in the following categories:

    Leadership

    • Region Officers serving a full term (promotes stability)
    • Region Officers attending BOD meetings
    • Region Officers or members participating in SCPRA Committees (i.e. Program/Membership/Nominating/Audit/Awards)
    • Originating innovative programs promoting SCPRA


    Membership

    • Increasing Region membership


    Attendance, Training, and Community & Professional Activities

    • Annual Conference, Annual Conference Business Meeting, Board of Directors Meetings, Region Membership Meeting at Annual Conference, Region Network Luncheons, SCPRA Committee Meetings, Region Workshops in other regions


    Financial

    • Meeting Board’s deadline for approval of workshop budget
    • Positive financial workshop balance


    Frequency:

    The award is presented every other year.
